Zumba for CyberKnife
February 1, 2012
This weekend you can get fit, have fun and raise money for our CyberKnife appeal.
The Zumba Party Challenge takes place on Saturday February 4 at Codsall Leisure Centre near Wolverhampton. Join in the fun from 11am until 2pm.
Proceeds from the event will go to the Kym Carpenter Memorial Fund which has so far raised £9,000 towards the QE Cancer Appeal and the purchase of world-leading cancer treatment, CyberKnife.
Kym Carpenter passed away in September 2009; during the time he was ill his family enquired about CyberKnife treatment, but unfortunately Kym’s cancer was too far advanced. They are now dedicated to supporting the QE Cancer Appeal to make the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham the only hospital outside London to provide the non-invasive, pain-free treatment.
The Zumba Party Challenge will also be raising funds for the South Staffordshire First Responders.
To reserve your place or sponsor the event please contact Viv Edwards on 01902 844971, brett@cyberkym4cancer.org.uk or upsydaisydo1@yahoo.co.uk .
Codsall Leisure Centre is in Elliotts Lane, Codsall, Wolverhampton, WV8 1PG.
More information on the Kym Carpenter Memorial Fund visit www.cyberkym4cancer.org.uk, and for details on the QE Cancer Appeal and CyberKnife visit http://www.qecancerappeal.org.

“The hospital charity provides those added extras that make a huge difference to the lives of military patients and their families. Thank you for your support”
